Italian cellist Nicola Siagri studied at the Royal College of Music in London, where he obtained the Artist Diploma in 2019, the highest level of performance degree, studying under renown cellist Raphael Wallfisch. He previously completed his Master of Music degree with full marks and honours at Italian conservatoire "Jacopo Tomadini" in Udine, under the tuition of professor Carlo Teodoro.

As a performer, he has played in various venues in London and throughout Europe and Asia, both as a soloist and as a member of chamber music groups and orchestras, in countries such as China, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and the United Kingdom. He has been invited to play in many festivals, among which the China-UK International Music Festival and many more in Italy such as “Carniarmonie”, “Concerti di San Martino” and “Lignano per la Musica”.

In 2024 and 2025, he joined the London City Philharmonic tour in China, and played in various cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing, Hefei, Zhangye, Bazhong and many others.

He has participated in masterclasses with Denis Brott, Roel Dieltiens, Sebastian Comberti, Michael Flaksman and the Pražák Quartet amongst others. He has furthermore studied baroque cello performance with Italian cellist Walter Vestidello.

He has a predilection for 20th century classical music and enjoys playing works for cello solo and recording études.
